How
do I get a new mooring in Marblehead?
Getting
a new mooring in Marblehead is a two step process. First you
must obtain a permit from the Marblehead Harbormaster. Their
office can be reached at 781-631-2386 or via Marblehead's
web site. Currently the wait is close to 15 years for a
spot in the main harbor. The West Shore and Peaches Point areas
don't presently have a waiting list. Once you receive a permit
give us a call. Be sure to have information about your boat
including its length and weight, as well as any special considerations
such as swim platforms or bow sprits that would require more
swinging space.
